I consistently seek out new and innovative ways to use technology to enhance my personal life, professional growth, and to bring into my classroom to share with students. I am very comfortable with technology and how to use it effectively and efficiently in a classroom setting. I have shared numerous moments with my colleagues that involved explaining, exploring, and sharing of tech resources. Most of these are informal day to day interactions but I have also helped to provide PD for colleagues through a variety of presentations and workshops on topics such as web development, DyKnow, video/audio softwares. I have presented these more formally at conferences such as ASB Unplugged and ELMLE. (See the site for my Unplugged Presentation on "The Web and Evolving Math Education")
I have also collaborated with colleagues on a number of technological projects including larger scale projects such as the development of the new ASB Library website which I built with the help of the Librarians and the Tech Department. (See the MS-HS Homepage here)
I have also participated in the K-12 Learning 2.0 Course which explored a variety of web tools for the use of education and discussed issues of safety, copyright, and other 21st century ethics and skills to integrate into the classroom. (See my course blog here)
